Canon – Truthmark

In this age of fake news and deep fakes where doctored images are used as markers of truth, we decided to take a stand.

Truthmark is a global database created to stop misuse of images to fuel fake news. Using digital fingerprint technology, pro photographers are able to attach their true story. This ensures that wherever their images go in the world, the truth follows.

This initiative also acts as a tool for journalists and the general public to verify and analyse images before using them to support or illustrate a narrative.
